Because of our line of work, Know.ee is aware that information is a high-value asset for our organization. It therefore requires proper protection and management in order to ensure business continuity and minimize potential damage caused by failures to maintain the integrity, availability, and confi dentiality of information.
Through the development and implementation of this Information Security Management System (ISMS), Know.ee’s Management is committed to:
- Developing solutions and services that comply with legislative requirements, by identifying all applicable legislation for the organization’s lines of business included in the ISMS scope.
- Establishing and fulfi lling contractual requirements with interested parties.
- Providing training and awareness programs on information security to all employees and other interested parties.
- Preventing and detecting viruses and other malicious software through the development of specifi c policies and by establishing contractual agreements with specialized organizations.
- Conducting information security risk assessments to identify and implement controls to mitigate the impact of identifi ed risks.
- Developing and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Defi ning the consequences of security policy violations, which will be refl ected in contracts signed with stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Fostering a culture of continual improvement in information security management and implementing improvements based on incident analysis, audits, and regular reviews.
- Acting at all times with the highest level of professional ethics.
- Ensuring that access to and use of information systems are carried out securely and in accordance with established policies.
- Preserving the brand’s reputation regarding data security.
- Properly managing the information life cycle so as to prevent improper use at any stage.
- Involving organizational personnel in the management of incidents related to services and information security, with the aim of restoring normal service operation as quickly as possible and minimizing adverse impacts on the organization.
- Safeguarding intellectual property rights.
- Periodically establishing objectives and metrics that enable management to adequately monitor service levels and management activities.
